Bright white quartz kitchen countertop and island install in Concord, CA

Most Concord kitchens go from first phone call to finished install in under three weeks. Here's exactly what happens at each step, who's in your home, and how to prep for a smooth project.

We're based on Commerce Ave in Concord, which means most local projects move fast — from template to finished install is usually 1.5 to 2 weeks. Here's what each step actually looks like.

Step 1 — Free in-home estimate (Day 0)

One of our team comes out, measures your space, talks through edge profiles and material options, and shows you samples from our collection. You get an itemized written estimate that day or the next morning — no pressure, no follow-up sales calls.

Step 2 — Slab selection at our yard (Days 1–5)

Quartz pattern looks very different in a small sample vs. a full slab. Visit our Concord yard to browse sample towers from multiple slab vendors, view full slabs, and check out remnants for smaller projects. For quartzite or specialty patterns, we'll order in.

Step 3 — Demo and template (Day 5)

We remove your existing countertops, protect your cabinets, and template the new surface directly on your base cabinets. Templating on the actual cabinetry (not on top of the old counters) gives the precise fit a digital scan can miss.

Step 4 — Fabrication (Days 7–12)

Your slab is cut, edged, and finished in our Concord shop. Cooktop and sink cutouts, edge profile, full-height backsplash if you have one — all done in-house. No subcontractor hand-off.

Step 5 — Install (Day 12–14)

Most Concord kitchens install in a single day. We set the countertop, level the seams, caulk to the walls, and walk you through care.

How to prep your kitchen for install day

  • Clear everything off existing counters the night before template and install.
  • Plan for water shutoff to your sink for 24 hours around install.
  • If you have pets, plan to keep them in another room — the crew uses a side door for slab carry-in.
  • Have your sink and faucet on-site before install day; we cut for your sink but plumbing connection is scheduled separately with your plumber.

Frequently asked

How long are you in my home on install day?
Most Concord kitchen installs run 4–7 hours, including cleanup. Larger kitchens with islands and waterfall edges may run a full day.
Do you handle the sink install too?
We cut the countertop for your sink and make sure the opening is precise, but we do not provide sinks. You'll supply your own sink and handle faucet plumbing with your plumber. We can coordinate timing so everything lines up on install day.
What's the warranty?
Every Concord install includes a 1-year labor warranty covering seams, shifting, edge detachment, and caulking. Material warranties from quartz manufacturers (Cambria, Caesarstone, Silestone, etc.) range from 10 years to a limited lifetime depending on brand and product line.
